Today Abby and I did our first ever Dora’s Adventure Party.  Well, I think you would call it a party.  Actually the guest of honor was also the birthday girl and the only child in attendance.  The rest of us were adults.  Or at least claim to be…

Abby became friends with four-year-old Trinity almost a year ago when Kevin introduced them.  She was also lucky enough to have met the rest of the family, too.  Since then Abby and Trinity have become “best friends”.  Their birthdays are only days apart, so Abby promised to share a Dora The Explorer birthday with her.  Today was the big day.

I’m not sure who anticipated it more or had more fun, Abby or Trinity.  All I know is that the afternoon was filled with giggling, games and a sweet sense of excitement.

Donned with binoculars, a Dora backpack and her safari hat, Trinity had an adventure she’ll never forget.   And neither will Abs.

You did an awesome job, Abby.  You wanted to give a four-year-old girl a party she’d always remember.  Mission accomplished.  Love it. You rock!

Here are a few shots of the birthday girls’ day…
