Happy Chinese New Year!
The residents of the nursing home helped us create some celebratory crafts for the occasion yesterday. (Great idea, Anne!) This was especially fun for our Chinese residents who shared with us how to REALLY say, Happy New Year –
“Gong Hei Fat Choi!” – Cantonese
“Gong Xi Fa Cai” – Mandarin
And now you’re prepared to greet everyone you meet with the proper New Year’s phrase. 🙂
Mrs. Shen did an extra coloring project that reminded us that 2014 is the year of the horse.  Didn’t she do a lovely job? 🙂
