I found an awesome, hurky coffee table with great hardware and inside storage at The Salvation Army last week for $30.00 (half price day!) It was great as it was but I wanted to darken it up and “highlight” some of it’s awesome imperfections, so I stained it with a dark stain and then rubbed it off. And now it’s just plain yummy! (I’ve got to learn to wear gloves when I do these projects!)

Nice! I love projects! Did you by any chance make the decoration sitting on the shelf behind your couch? I have a half wall and that would be perfect on it. I may have to get out my saw this week!

  I did! One side is an advent calendar, the other side, the verse! It was one of my most fun projects!
